Myself and extended family, are staying at Beach Club Resort the first week of May. I was wondering if some rooms are better than others. We have a water/lake view room. But which should I request? I also read some are very far from the lobby.

    Hi Debbie,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think we all want to figure out what the "perfect room with the perfect view" is for the resort we've chosen. With a water/lake view at Disney's Beach Club Resort, I don't think you can go wrong!

When it comes to room requests, I think you have to prioritize. Think about which request is the most important to you. Always list that request first. If you need to be close to the lobby or elevators, make sure that is your first request. I have friends who prefer the first floor, so that is always their first request.

How busy the resort is factors greatly into whether or not they are able to grant your request. When you check in, if you find you are unhappy with your room, you can always ask if anything else is available in your room category. Be sure to ask as kindly as possible. As my mother says, "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar."

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.
Wishing you and your extended family a magical vacation!
