Hi, My DH ,myself and our 3 children 18,13,8 are planning a visit in July 2008.This trip is part of the celebration for my son's HS graduation. Does Disney do anything for this special event. I have already mentioned it in our reservations at Yacht Club.

Congratulations to your son! There is nothing in particular that Disney does for graduations, but you can certainly make it a special trip. You've already taken the first step of telling your resort. While there are no guarantees, often when someone in a group is having a special milestone, the hotel will put a small balloon bouquet or card in the room.

You can also arrange to have a gift basket sent to the room by contacting I recently met some of the cast members who create the gift baskets. They told me that in addition to the many standard gift baskets they make, they can also incorporate into a basket almost anything legal that you want to send them. Maybe you could have some special memento from his old school (or his new school if he's going off to college) wrapped along with some Disney souvenirs.

You can also arrange to have a special cake presented to your son at almost any table service restaurant in the parks. Just ask for more information when you make your dining reservations at 407-WDW-DINE.

    Have a great trip.
