I'm so excited for the update to the MyDisney Wallet. As someone who uses the
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering and the
Merchandise Mobile Checkout features of the
My Disney Experience mobile app regularly, it certainly saves some time and makes those processes easier. However, as of this writing, you cannot use the MyDisney Wallet to purchase
Lightning Lane Passes. My recommendation is to save the gift card number and EAN in a note on your phone so you can easily copy and paste them into the app on the payment screen. My fingers and merman fins are all crossed that this feature is added in the future.
One of my favorite things about Disney Gift Cards is that you can typically combine the balances of multiple gift cards into one (up to $1,000). This way, I don't have a bunch of gift cards I'm juggling, trying to keep track of, and, most importantly, typing in. I just have one that I can use over and over! To do this, go to the
Disney Gift Card website, select "My Cards" from the top menu, and first select "Add Cards" if you have one or more cards to add. Then, you can select "Manage" for the card you want to make your main card and look for options to transfer funds to that card. And then, you're ready to shop!
