Hiya Michaela, and welcome to our planDisney Clubhouse!
Hot Diggity Dog! How exciting that you will bring your son for his first visit to celebrate his birthday! I'm throwing confetti and birthday pixie dust all around this question! I'm thrilled to help you make your son's memorable trip absolutely
Mickey-rific!I am happy to let you know that you are as welcome as can be to pick up a celebration button for your September vacation, even with your son's actual birthday being in October. Walt Disney World is happy to be a part of your personal celebration anytime you wish to celebrate! My anniversary is in October, but we sometimes celebrate a few months early due to work schedules. We pick up our celebration button from a helpful Cast Member and celebrate on our schedule.
Michaela, there are so many magical ways to celebrate extra special birthdays in The Most Magical Place on Earth! A dinner reservation with Winnie the Pooh at
The Crystal Palace or a breakfast dance party with Goofy at
Cape May Cafe is a great way to celebrate your special occasion! Did you know you can order a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake? I was at Disney's Beach Club Resort last week and they had a few of these cakes for purchase and they were adorable and PERFECT for a Mousketeer's birthday!
Since you'll be visiting in September, I can't think of a better way to celebrate than by waving to Mickey Mouse himself at the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is full of candy, fireworks, and spooky fun!
Oh boy, you are going to have the most wonderful trip! Celebration buttons allow Cast Members and Guests like me the opportunity to join in your celebration. Whether you pick up a birthday button, a first visit button, or both, I know you'll have such a magical time! Please feel free to reach out again as you make your plans. We love using all our Mouseketools to help you create the perfect birthday magic.
Happy planning!
