Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather!
I hope you've had fun planning your holiday vacation to Walt Disney World® Resort - it's going to be hEAR before you know it. I've been planning a Thanksgiving vacation as well, so I'm excited to be helping you with yours.
I am happy to report the holiday character meet and greets that take place allover Magic Kingdom during the party, do not stop during either showing of Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. If you can, try to catch the second parade and use the first parade to greet with characters and ride your favorite attractions. Here are a few other tips to help make your party experience as festive as possible.
• Arrive early - guests with
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are allowed entry into Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00pm. Take advantage of this extra time - and keep your ears open right at 7pm when the parks ambient music suddenly switches to Christmas tunes.
• For meal times, utilize counter service options available during the party. Sit-down dining will take up a lot of precious party time.
• Pick up a party map and times guide as soon as you arrive and head upstairs to the Train Station. Have a seat on one of the benches overlooking Main Street USA and, as a family, mark your must-do activities.
• As soon as the fireworks spectacular, Holiday Wishes is complete, grab some cookies and hot chocolate from the treat station at Tomorrowland Terrace and then find your perfect spot for the second showing of the parade.
I hope these tips help in your planning, Heather! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Happy Holidays!
