We have MVMCP tickts and we were planning on having a resort-day until we can get in at 4:00 to MK. I just want to be sure that the MDE system won't count that day as one of our regular ticket park days if I make a reservation for 7DMT at 4:00. Thanks!

    Hi there, Melissa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's great to hEAR from you again!

How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in November! My family loves experiencing Magic Kingdom Park when it's beautifully decorated for the holiday season. During Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Guests can enjoy holiday treats and seasonal beverages while watching Once Upon a Christmastime Parade on Main Street, U.S.A. It's so magical!

I think you are very wise to enjoy a Resort day prior to entering Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. In fact, my family has always done the exact same thing when attending the festive event. I have also been able to book FastPass+ selections between 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with my Special Event ticket. When you enter the park, I recommend that you ask the Cast Member at the touch-point entry area if the ticket that is being used for park entry is your Special Event ticket rather than your regular park ticket. The Cast Member should be able to verify your park admission. If you plan to enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the party, you should only need your Special Event ticket for park entry, even if you book FastPass+ selections before the party officially begins.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Melissa. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
