Going to MVMCP on 12/2/18, we have our tickets already! Will be arriving at the park at 4 & not using a MK ticket. When our 60 day mark for FP+ arrives, will I be able to make reservation for rides from 4p.m.-6p.m. that day? Any other suggestions? TY

Hi, Judy! Thanks so much for stopping by with another great question! Attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park is our favorite way to welcome in the holiday season. When we have attended this party in previous years, we have usually been allowed to enter the park with our special event ticket a bit earlier than the posted party time. This time has varied each year, but has generally been around the 4:00 p.m. time you mention. I do make note of this because I do not want you to find yourself with important plans during that 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. time period and no way to enter the park, just in case they do hold party entrance until later. I always consider any early time admission to the parks just a sprinkling of extra pixie dust on an already magical day.

Judy, if you do want to go ahead and make some FastPass+ plans for the day you attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you are able to add the party tickets to your My Disney Experience account and use them to make FastPass+ selections. You will find that FastPass+ selections will be very limited and will not go past the time the party is posted to begin. One thing you will want to be aware of is that guests are only able to make FastPass+ selections in one park each day, even if they are using different kinds of tickets for each admission that day (such as a special event ticket and a theme park tickets). So, if you do decide to visit any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks earlier that day with your regular tickets, you will need to make a choice between making FastPass+ selections in that earlier park or at Magic Kingdom Park that evening before the party begins.

I hope this information helps you plan a very merry holiday this December! Please stop by again if you need more information on planning your FastPass+ selections or how to make the most of this joyous party!
