The holiday season is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. By the time you arrive, there will be gorgeous Christmas decorations up at each of the Theme Parks and
Resort Hotels and fun special events will be in full-swing, including the one you're attending this year,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. There is nothing that says Christmas quite like sipping eggnog on Main Street U.S.A. after Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade with snow falling all around you. Magical is the only word for it!
Since you'll already be in
Magic Kingdom Park for your advanced dining reservation, you'll be able to pick up your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party admission wristband from one of many locations inside the Theme Park. Around 4 p.m., Cast Members in festive costumes will be available to check your tickets and give you a wristband. I've seen them around
Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland and in front of
Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland in the past, but the locations do tend to change from year to year. They'll be set up in each of the five lands at Magic Kingdom Park, and you can ask any Cast Member where to find them if you don't happen upon one right away. That way, you don't have to go all the way to the front of the Theme Park to redeem your Party admission, and you can begin enjoying Christmas festivities as soon as they begin at 7 p.m.
