    We are going to MVMCP on Nov 21st. Would appreciate advice on best way to handle dinner that night so we get the most out of our evening. Currently have a 5:00 ADR at Whispering Canyon (our resort).Is that a good plan or should we get to MK earlier ? Thx

    Hi Sara!

         I am excited for you because you are planning to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year in November! I have attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 6 times before and I love it!  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party officially begins at 7:00 pm on the party nights and typically ends at midnight.  Whispering Canyon Cafe is also one of my favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World.  It typically takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to eat there.  If you were to leave the Wilderness Lodge Resort by boat around 6:30 pm, then you should be able to get to the Magic Kingdom before this amazing party begins at 7:00 pm.  My recommendation would be to keep your Advanced Dining Reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe, but try to see if you can make one for between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm so that you will not have to feel rushed during your meal. If you can get an earlier Advanced Dining Reservation then cancel the 5:00 pm one. 

    I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
