Hi, for MVMCP, can you leave the park for the electrical pageant on Bay Lake/Seven Seas then go back into the party? Do you know which attractions won't be open for party?

Hello, Michelle! Oh my goodness! You'll be traveling during the Most Magical Time of the Year! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticketed event held on select nights in November and December. Magic Kingdom Park is transformed into a winter wonderland, and your breath will be taken away when Queen Elsa illuminates the over 200,000 LED lights that adorn Cinderella Castle! You'll get to see snow fall on Main Street U.S.A., enjoy two performances of the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies (try the Ginger Molasses- they're my favorite)!

Just like a regular theme park ticket, Guests are welcome to come and go as they please from Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. That being said, with all the festive entertainment, I wouldn't recommend leaving the Party- and this is coming from someone who rates the Electrical Water Pageant as a "Do Not Miss" experience! However, if you want to do both in the same evening, the best place to catch it is right outside the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park, beginning at 10:35 PM.

Here's a Moms Panel tip: Guests who have party tickets can enter the Park as early as 4:00 PM.  Make sure to get there on time, and have an early dinner at a quick service location; I like Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, where they sometimes have nachos with red and green chips! Although schedules are always subject to change, here's a current listing of attractions likely to be open during the event:

    *Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    *Splash Mountain
    *Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    *"it's a small world"
    *Peter Pan's Flight
    *Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
    *Haunted Mansion
    *Space Mountain

I'm also partial to the "Jingle Cruise," which is a seasonal overlay of the Jungle Cruise. If you ride, look for Trader Sam dressed in festive red gear as "Trader Sam-ta!" Also, don't worry about using FastPass +, as the system is inactive during party hours.

Michelle, I hope your holidays are filled with lots of Mouse-tacular yuletide cheer!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
