HI! MVMCP on 12/21. What extra characters might we see? We will be there close to 4, so what is our best plan of attack for rides/events? Also, MK next day with BBB at 1240 and CRT at 1:30. Can you suggest a plan for doing the most with large crowds?

    Hi there, Holly!

One of the local Walt Disney World bloggers has compiled a list of which characters are out during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You can find the extensive list here:

It is likely that your night of the Party will be reasonably busy; statistically, the closer the calendar gets to the holiday, the more popular the party night. My suggestion is to figure out what it is you most want to do and prioritize. Unfortunately, without knowing the ages of the people in your travel party, it's tough for me to make any kind of concrete recommendations.

If you can stay for the second running of the Once Upon A Christmastime parade, take advantage of the ride downtime during the first parade to hit some of the major attractions. And be aware that after the fireworks, you'll see a significant drop in attendance, as many people head out.

Check out TouringPlans.com. This Web site offers a variety of - you guessed it! - touring plans, specific to the time of the year, makeup of the travel party, and more. They will be able to guide you, too.

Please be aware that your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment might run around an hour. You'll need to have someone in your party on standby, ready to go check in at Cinderella's Royal Table at 1:30 PM; otherwise, you risk your reservation being released.

    Have a great trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
