We are going to MVMCP on December 19 I just read that it is sold out of tickets. I am worried about the party being to crowded and we have wasted our money getting the tickets. Any advice on how to plan the night during the party, so we will still enjoy

Hi Kory!  My family is also heading to the Magic Kingdom on December 19 to enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I also read that this night has sold out!

I am not worried about the crowds, however, since I was also at the sold out Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Halloween night in the Magic Kingdom!  We literally walked on every attraction and had little or not wait time.  We didn't get curb side seating for the parade but we could have if we had chosen to say for the second parade that night.  Watching the fireworks in front of the castle was very crowded but it didn't hamper our view since most of the show is high in the sky.

I suggest you avoid Fantasyland until later in the evening. Many families with younger children head home after the fireworks and this area can be easier to maneuver at that time.  Another great time to hit the attractions is during the parades especially the first parade. We like to head to Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain during the parade and then watch the second parade later in the evening.

It will be a festive night so don't let the crowds alter your holiday spirit!  Enjoy the cookies and cocoa and stop to catch the snow falling on Main Street! Look for flashing red Mickey ears decorated with pointsettias and you will find me!
