Ahoy, Lynn! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your question about sailing aboard the
Disney Magic.
Every sailing with Disney Cruise Line includes an
Assembly Drill on embarkation day to ensure that you know where to go in the unlikely event of an emergency. Your assigned Assembly Station is determined by your stateroom number and will be designated by a letter. You can find your specific Assembly Station on both your Key to the World Card and on the back of your stateroom door. The exact location of your Assembly Station on the deck plans can be found in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, but I can tell you that Assembly Station H onboard the Disney Magic is located outside on Deck 4, Port Side.
During the Assembly Drill, crew members will guide you to the right location and alternative stairwells that are typically only accessible to crew members will be opened to get you there quickly. The Assembly Drill usually doesn’t take very long, but is meant to make sure that everyone onboard knows exactly where to go and what the emergency procedures would be in the event of an emergency. If you have any trouble figuring out where to go or have other questions, the crew members will be more than happy to assist you.
I hope you have the best time sailing on the Disney Magic, which was the very first ship in the Disney fleet and one of my personal favorites. If you have any other questions, we are always ready and willing to help here at planDisney. Happy sailing!
