Hiya Ashley! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney and taking the time to personally send me a question. I'm happy to help!
As a foodie, dining is always at the top of my Disney vacation planning list and the California cuisine at the Disneyland Resort is amazing! One of my top must-visit dining locations at
Disney California Adventure Park is
Lamplight Lounge. One of the great things about this dining spot is no matter which meal time you choose, the views are just as enjoyable as the food! This restaurant currently serves brunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I cannot say enough about this
menu. I love the Mimosa Flight and Indulgent French Toast! Lunch and dinner have great drinks and food selections too. If you decide to make an advanced dining reservation, be sure to request a waterside table. Another dining spot my family can't miss is
Pym Test Kitchen at
Avengers Campus. This is more of a snack stop for us, but the Quantum Pretzel and Celestial-sized Candy Bar: Choco-Smash CANDY Bar are huge and shareable. I like to use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering while we are waiting in line for an attraction and then head over to pick up the order. This location also has a beverage station where you can get refills on soft drinks or refill a water bottle. Some spots in the seating area provide great views of superheroes patrolling the campus.
At
Disneyland Park, one of my favorite dining experiences is
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn. With an all-you-care-to-enjoy spread and getting to see many characters, it's the perfect way to start the day in the park! I also highly recommend
Carnation Cafe. It's a great spot to enjoy some of Walt's favorites while taking in the sights and sounds of Main Street, U.S.A. I like to time our reservation around the later parade time and request a table on the patio. For an iconic Disneyland dining location, I recommend
Blue Bayou Restaurant. The ambiance is great and the food is delicious! I also love
Cafe Orleans and always ask to be seated outside so we can enjoy the views of the Rivers of America. If you like Mint Juleps, you can get unlimited refills at this dining location!
There is so much incredible food to enjoy at The Happiest Place on Earth, that you really can't go wrong! I would suggest checking out the menus at the locations I mentioned and reserving the places that most appeal to your family. If I can answer any other questions about the Disneyland Resort, please feel free to send them my way. I would love to help!
Happy Planning!
Smiles,
Lisa
