Hello, Michelle!
Welcome! Watching Wishes from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite ways to see this fireworks spectacular. My family loves to grab dinner at 'Ohana or Kona Cafe, do some shopping at the BouTiki gift shop, grab a Dole Float from the Pineapple Lanai, and then head to the beach for fireworks.
The best part, the music IS piped in for guests to enjoy the soundtrack along with the fireworks. To get the best audio, look for the light poles with the speakers on them along the walkway. If you are too far away from a speaker location, it is heard to hear over the other guests and the children playing in the nearby Volcano Pool. I also want to mention Wishes will be retiring in May to make way for a new fireworks spectacular,
Happily Ever After, debuting May 12th.
Another tip: If you time your visit to the Poly just right, you could also catch the Electric Water Pageant during its nightly sailing around Seven Seas Lagoon.
I hope you find this helpful, Michelle! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
