It's time to play the music, Nikki. It's time to light the lights. It's time to meet
the Muppets in your planDisney answer today!
At this time, we are not sure if the Muppets will put on makeup, dress up right, and raise the curtain on the "The Muppets Present...Great Moments in History" for this year's 4th of July offerings. It may be one of the surprises that the resort has in store for us. We'll just have to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog in case any announcements are made...or when we're there, see if this is one of those happy surprises that come our way!
Now,
Waldorf may be asking himself, "Why do we always come here?" But what he may or may not realize is that the
Walt Disney World Resort is a wonderful place to salute all nations, but mostly America. We've got experiences like
The Hall of Presidents, the
Flag Retreat, and the entirety of Liberty Square in
Magic Kingdom Park. Then there's
The American Adventure, the newly opened
Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief's Tribute to America's Warriors, and the
Voices of Liberty in
EPCOT. And of course, my favorite, the glorious 3-hour finale (done in a minute-and-a-half) of
Muppet*Vision 3D in
Disney's Hollywood Studios. And that's just scratching the surface. In fact,
the Disney Parks Blog recently released an article on 11 ways to celebrate the 4th of July at Walt Disney World. Patriotism swells in the heart of an American bear like
Fozzie Bear, but also at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Nikki, I have my fingers crossed that during your visit you'll be able to pull over and have a picnic with a pig. Or at the very least, witness an appearance from our favorite wacky, zany, and loveable Muppet crew. If you have any other questions,
I'm happy to answer them...Muppet-related or otherwise. But fair warning: now that I know you're a Muppet fan, I can't promise I won't sneak a Muppet reference into a non-Muppet-related question! After all, as the always brutally honest and completely fabulous
Miss Piggy would say, "I don’t care what you think of me, unless you think I’m awesome. In which case, you are right."
It's nice to be important, but it's important to be nice,
Matt
