Hi Mums, love this panel! I need to rent an electric scooter for getting around at WDW, what is the best way to do this. Also do I need to reserve it in advance?

Hi Hazel!  Each theme park will have electric scooters available for rental.  However, if you are requiring this to also get around outside the parks then I would recommend you contact an outside vendor to rent one directly through them since you are not allowed to take the park ECV's back to the resorts.

Several companies you can contact are:
    LifeAire        800-417-9496
    ScootAround        888-441-7575
    Walker Mobility        888-726-6837

These companies are not affiliated with Disney in any way but will provide their service in dropping off and picking up at all the resorts.  May mother has used Walker Mobility and was very pleased with the wheel chair she used during her stay.

You can also check with Buena Vista Scooters which is on property over at the Boardwalk resort.  It is a first come first served situation but it is possible to rent in advance but going to their website, www,buenavistascooters.com or calling 407-938-0349.  These ECV's can be taken anywhere and it is a two day minimum. They will also provide free pickup and delivery to all Disney resorts.

All busses and monorails are equipped to assist those with ECV's but not all boats so be sure to ask when planning that means of transportation.
