Hi Sharon! I think the weather is very nice in December, but I don't like the hot humid Florida summers! In December, you will definitely want to bring a light jacket and a sweater for the cool days. However, you will also want to bring something warmer in case the evenings and nights ate cold. I have been there when gloves, a hat, and a scarf was needed! The best thing to do is to plan to dress in layers. With regards to the best place to stay, there is no one answer. Every guest probably has a different favorite. The top of the line Disney Resorts are the Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. The next level down are the Disney Moderate Resorts, followed by the Disney Value Resorts. With a young child in the party, I recommend staying at a Magic Kingdom monorail resort if your budget allows because you will probably be spending a lot time in the Magic Kingdom. My favorite is the Polynesian, followed very closely by the Contemporary Resort. My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside, and my favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century. I hope this helps in your planning! Write back with more questions!
