Greetings Amelia and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
As an international Guest myself traveling from Brazil, I am always on the lookout for special discounts. International travel can be quite costly. The first thing I do is visit a local travel agent to check for deals on Disney vacation packages. In addition, I visit the
special offers page on the Walt Disney World Resort website because there are deals that international Guests can usually enjoy, except offers that are specifically for Florida residents, passholders, members of the U.S. Military and others. Keep your eyes opened for vacation packages that include a free
Disney Dining Plan to save on food.
Another great tip to save on your vacation is ordering items from local grocery stores. I have used the services from Garden Grocer and they deliver to Disney Resort hotels. I usually order cases of bottled water, fruit, snacks, and breakfast items, this way I don’t need to spend more at the parks for these products. If possible, I also recommend visiting in late January and early February, and avoiding the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in January when prices are usually higher. In addition, when you
stay at a Disney Resort hotel you can enjoy benefits like complimentary transportation to and from the airport and throughout the Walt Disney World Resort so you save money by not renting a car and not having parking expenses. If you are thinking about character dining, choose breakfast over lunch and dinner because it is usually cheaper.
These are just a few tips, Amelia. I hope they help you while planning and that you come back with additional questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
