Hello Susan, thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
How fun to be visiting Walt Disney World with your Mum and your daughter. I'm sure you all will be making very special memories. If your mother wants to meet up with you and your daughter inside one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, she will be required to have a park ticket to gain entrance. If she isn't visiting the park for the day, that could be really expensive for her to join you just for dinner. Instead, consider making dining reservations at one of the wonderful restaurants located at the Disney resorts. One of my personal favorites is
'Ohana, located inside Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The meal is fantastic and if you time it just right, you will be able to see the fireworks from your table. We like to make our reservations for about 1 hour prior to the start of the fireworks over Magic Kingdom Park. While enjoying dessert, the lights dim and music from the show gets piped in. It is my favorite way to see the fireworks. You could also enjoy an upscale meal at the
California Grill located inside of Disney's Contemporary Resort. When dining here, you also are treated to a wonderful spot to view the fireworks. Even if you dine before the firework show begins, save your meal receipt and come back to watch the show from the observation deck. Both are great meals and I think they are exactly what you are looking for!
If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and
ask me! Have a great day.
