Hi Corinne,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! It sounds like you have an amazing trip planned for the fall. A RunDisney event and a generous amount of time to explore the parks; I wish I could be in your shoes (wink)! Of course, you would want to capture every magical moment!
Thankfully, your registration in the
Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend already includes unlimited digital downloads of PhotoPass photos taken throughout the race!
With a little bit of digging, I was able to find the landing page where RunDisney has race
results and photos from previous races. I am sure once your race is over, you will be able to check the site for your photos.
There are a couple of options you have to get access to photos you take at the park during the rest of your trip.
Option 1: If you were considering purchasing a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your trip, it comes with unlimited downloads of your photos for the day. This might get you some bang for your buck! Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices fluctuate and are subject to change, but it might be a good value considering you would have shorter wait times on rides and get access to all your photos from the day.
Option 2: You could purchase “
Disney PhotoPass+ One Week.”This package allows you to download a whole week's worth of photos for one price. Currently, prices are listed at $78 (prices, subject to change). It is not the full eight days, but this might be your best option for capturing every magical moment.
There are other PhotoPass options that allow you to purchase photos individually or for
one day, but that does not sound like something you are interested in. If I am mistaken, you can check out the Disney PhotoPass site for more information on that.
You are coming at a great time, because
Halloween Time will begin on August 22, so be sure to try the seasonal snacks and beverages.
Plaza de la Familia will also be taking place at California Adventure. This is a great time to see the spirit of Día de Los Muertos come to life (wink). Christmas is fantastic, but I enjoy the Halloween season in the parks! Cars Land at night; un-boo-leavable!!
Photo Tip: I like to use a Disney PhotoPass Card to link my photos at the park. It is faster and saves my phone battery because I am not constantly opening the Disneyland app. You can ask any PhotoPass photographer for PhotoPass card.
I hope this information is helpful, Corinne. Please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelist if you have any more questions. Good luck with your training!
Wishing you a magical trip and the best of luck!
