Is a multiport USB charger allowed on a Disney Cruise?

Ahoy there, Chris! Thank you for sailing by planDisney before you sail away on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I'm excited that you're almost there!

There are multiple outlets and USB plugs throughout your stateroom. You will find them on the nightstands and the desks. A multiple-port USB wall charger is allowable, though. As long as it doesn't have multiple plugs and isn't part of an extension cord, you should be okay. Extension cords, power strips, multi-plugs, and surge protectors are prohibited on the ship. The Chief Electrical Engineer may inspect your charger to ensure it is allowable.

Make sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you embark so you can have a list of onboard activities and your rotational dining scheduled once you are connected to the DCL-GUEST wireless network. There is also a chat feature in the app that I like to use to communicate with my family and friends who are traveling with me.

Chris, I hope you have a magical vacation. If you find yourself with any other questions, make a wish on the evening star, and planDisney will be there for you.

    Bon Voyage!
