I have multiple severe food allergies - dairy, gluten (wheat), and eggs. I'm wondering if it is OK to take food inside the theme parks with me since there will likely be nothing I can eat inside the parks. Do they search bags when you enter?

    Hi Wendy,

You are absolutely welcome to take your own food into the Disney theme parks.  Cast members in charge of security at the Disney parks will inspect your bags when you enter but they will not mind that you are bringing food into the parks.  There are no rules against this.

Do consider making at least one table service reservation at a Disney restaurant during your stay at Walt Disney World.  Disney is famous for their commitment to meet the diverse dietary needs of their guests.  Just mention your allergies when you call (407) WDW-DINE to make your reservations.  Then the chef at your restaurant of choice will speak to you when you arrive so that he or she can see to it that a suitable meal will be prepared for you.

Wishing you a magical stay at Walt Disney World!
