We have multiple resorts surfing our upcoming stay how do we move our luggage? Also how does we move our groceries? We’re dvc members

    Hi there Lisa,

Welcome to planDisney! It’s great to meet a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney today. It sounds like you’re making great use of your Disney Vacation Club Membership and are exploring the many DVC resorts. My family loves making a split-stay part of our vacation plans as it lets us experience the theming and features of more than one resort on one visit!

As a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Walt Disney World Resort has you covered when it comes to moving to another resort. Complimentary luggage transfers make split-stays very easy to do! You’ll need to make sure your luggage is tagged before presenting it at Bell Services. Let them know where you are moving to and they’ll tag your bags, give you the claim tag and then you’ll be on your way to enjoy a day at the theme parks or whatever your plans may be. Be sure to keep any items you’ll need throughout the day including medications and valuables since the bags may not arrive at your second resort until later in the afternoon. Once you arrive at your second resort, you can collect your bags at Bell Services or you can ask to have it brought to your room by making a call from your room.

Moving groceries can be a bit trickier since Bell Services can’t move your perishable items. You can move your other items if they are bagged and tagged. Did you know that you can have groceries delivered to your room? DVC Members can order groceries on the DVC website by clicking on the “Plan Vacation” tab. Scroll down and choose “Pre-Arrival Checklist” once logged in. Select “Order Groceries” and choose your DVC resort from the list. Once you’ve filled out the form, you can choose to have your order delivered right to your Villa or you can pick them up at Bell Services. Fill out the rest of the form and email it to your address on the form. Grocery orders will be delivered on your check-in date after 5:00 PM.

Lisa, I hope this informations helps take the guesswork out of some of your vacation planning. I hope you have a fantastic split-stay and enjoy both of your selected resorts. Please swing by planDisney again if you have any other questions, I’m happy to help!
