Hi Brandon!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help. It looks like you're arriving today for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation - time to immerse yourself in the fun and magic and start making memories!
Let's talk about
Theme Park Reservations. A few years ago, Walt Disney World introduced the Theme Park Reservation system to help manage the number of park guests on any given day. This helped maintain physical distancing measures and adhere to public health guidelines being implemented at the time.
Earlier this year, Walt Disney World announced that Theme Park Reservations would no longer be required for certain date-based tickets. (Date-based tickets require you to select a start date for your visit when you purchase them.) If that's the type of ticket you'll be using, no need to worry about park reservations - you're good to go!
There are still a few types of tickets that *do* still require Theme Park Reservations: Student Group tickets, Sport/Convention tickets, Florida Resident Disney Thrills Tickets, Disney Military Salute Tickets, and Annual Passes. If you'll be using one of these types of tickets, you'll simply need to make a Theme Park Reservation for the
first park you plan to visit each day.
I'm happy to hear you'll be using a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option! With a Park Hopper, you'll be able to maximize the fun by visiting more than one theme park per day. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even try to visit all four! Whether you want to experience the enchantment of
Magic Kingdom Park, the innovation and culture of
EPCOT, step into showbiz at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, or have a "wild" time at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - a Park Hopper gives you access to all four amazing theme parks.
Bus Transportation is available between theme parks beginning at 10 am each day, as well as
Monorail transportation between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Guests can also fly through the sky via the
Disney Skyliner to travel between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT!
My family always enjoys starting our day at one park and ending it in another. Our favorite way to end the day is with a Nighttime Spectacular, like
Happily Ever After Fireworks at Magic Kingdom or
Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios!
I hope this information is helpful as you map out your vacation days at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Have a wonderful time!
