Ka-CHOW, you'll be pulling into
Disney's Art of Animation Resort in only two days! There are so many whozits and whatzits to see while you're there, we better get you ready for your lion-sized adventure in the Big Blue World!
Whether you're hopping aboard a bus or flying in a gondola, transportation options are plentiful at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If your daily travels take you to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT, the
Disney Skyliner will take you there starting about an hour before the posted park opening time. For Disney's Animal Kingdom Park or the Magic Kingdom Park, the wheels on the bus start going 'round and 'round
about 45 minutes before opening. When you're headed "home," the Disney Skyliner operates about 90 minutes after park closing, while buses will whisk Guests back to their Resort hotels for about an hour after close. Disney does adjust transportation times occasionally on busier days (especially in the morning), so we usually plan on being at the bus stop or Skyliner station a little earlier than posted, just in case.
And here's a tip! You can
check the My Disney Experience app on your phone for the next bus time before you even leave your room in the morning! On the front page, scroll down until you see your Resort hotel info, then click on "My Resort." Next, swipe right on the boxes until you see "Bus Times," and TA-DAAA! You'll see when the next bus is expected to depart for your destination!
Josh, you can absolutely leave your luggage with Bell Services when you arrive and head off to the theme parks to let the fun begin! Just let a Cast Member know you'd like to store your things, and they'll get you squared away.
You'll get a text when your room is ready, and you can call Bell Services and ask them to deliver your luggage after you've returned.
