Space Mountain are in my future, but buying passes also signals my long weekend at the Most Magical Place on Earth is just a week away. Hot dog! I am glad you are here at planDisney putting the final touches on your
Walt Disney World Resort trip, too.
If you buy a
Lightning Lane pass for multiple people in one purchase, anyone in your group who manages their own account in the
My Disney Experience app should be able to modify them. The functionality is not limited to the purchaser.
When I purchased my Lightning Lane Multi Passes for my family, I coordinated the selections with my friends
Candace and
Lizzie so we could all have a wild time together at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Since we bought them separately, I can see theirs in my app but cannot modify them. After we use our first Lightning Lane entry and escape a meteor shower in
Dinosaur, we can then select additional experiences together based on availability.
You can modify a Lightning Lane Single or Multi Pass selection for a new time and, with a Multi Pass, a new experience. To do this, open the home screen on the My Disney Experience app. You should see "My Lightning Lane Passes" at the top. Select this tile and the experience you want to modify. From the screen that pops up at the bottom, select "Modify Plan." You will see the options to choose a new time or new experience. The system defaults to include everyone in your group. If you want to change passes for some people, scroll to "Your Party" at the bottom and select the Guest you want to include.
