Hello, Beth, and welcome to planDisney. You're only a few clicks away from making your Disney vacation dreams come true! Let’s put those Disney Gift Cards to good use.
Ready for some pixie-dusted news, Beth? Disney Gift Cards can indeed be used to purchase theme park tickets directly on the
Disneyland website. Since only one gift card can be used per transaction, you’ll first want to combine your balances. Visit
DisneyGiftCard.com, create an account, and register your cards. From there, you can transfer all your balances onto a single card (up to $1,000 total).
After you've done that, it's time to get your tickets! Sign in to your
Disney account on the Disneyland website, choose your tickets, and select your reservation dates. When you reach the payment page, check the "Use a Disney Gift Card" box and enter the information from the back of your card. If your purchase total exceeds $1,000, you can either pay the remaining balance with a debit or credit card, or complete separate transactions for each ticket type.
Any leftover funds on your Disney Gift Card can be used for shopping or dining throughout the parks. There's nothing better than getting fun souvenirs with a gift card! There is some adorable merchandise coming to the parks for the holiday season. I especially love the
Mickey Mouse Family Christmas Collection.
The
holiday season is my favorite time of year at the Disneyland Resort. The towering tree, twinkling lights on Sleeping Beauty Castle, heartwarming entertainment, festive snacks – it's all so joyful! If you have a chance to see the
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular, make sure to watch it in front of "it's a small world," along the Rivers of America, or on Main Street, U.S.A. for a chance to experience the magical "snowfall" that's part of the show. It's simply magical!
If you have any other questions as you plan your trip, Beth, please let us know. We're here for you!
Your pal,
Kriss
