When multipasses, do you have to book all of one day before booking another day? Do you have to book your days in order? If neither of these, can I go through and book my tier 1 selections for each day and then go back and book all of the tier 2?

    Greetings, Katie!

It is almost time to purchase those Lighting Lane passes for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You must be thrilled as your countdown comes to an end and soon you'll be visiting Mickey and pals at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I am excited for you, so let's get to planning.

When you are able to begin making your Lightning Lane pass selections, you are only able to do one day at a time. If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel or other select hotels, you can begin making purchases 7 days prior to your arrival and for the length of your stay (up to 14 days.) If not, you can plan 3 days prior to your visit. You don't need to book the days in order, so feel free to book them in whatever order you would like, but you do have to select both the group one and group two experiences at the same time. You are also able to book Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass for the same day, in the same transaction. Once you book the first day you choose and complete payment, it will ask if you'd like to go ahead and plan another day.

I am happy to share a few extra tips that I have learned about Lightning Lane Multi Pass. When you select your first 3 experiences and arrival windows at the time of purchase, you'll have to make the same selections for everyone in your party. However, once the purchase is complete, you'll be able to modify each Guest's choices and select other multi pass experiences or arrival windows (subject to availability.) This gives your travel party flexibility—so you can share all the same Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections or enjoy different experiences. Also, once you have redeemed your first experience, you can use the My Disney Experience mobile app to check availability for another Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience and, if available, add it to your plans.

Happy Lightning Lane pass planning, Katie! If we can help with anything else, please let us know. Have a wonderful vacation!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
