Multi-family staying at Jambo House Villa. Is it possible to set up separate accounts for adult individuals to link their magic bands with the resort account but allowing each individuals purchases to be charged to their credit card of choice?

    Hi Carol,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

We often visit Walt Disney World Resort with several other families, and our favourite place to stay is in a Villa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, so I think you’re in for a real treat during your stay at Jambo House! Because of that, there are usually several members of our party who want to associate any payments they may choose to make with their MagicBand to their own credit card.

Based on my experience, a Guest’s MagicBand can be linked to the credit card of their choice, even if it’s not the same one that is associated with the vacation reservation. Please mention that you’d like to associate other Guests’ charging privileges to other credit cards to the Cast Member when you check in. Please note that you can’t do this via the Online Check-In Service, yet.

In order to make sure that everything is set up perfectly, I would recommend that you ask your Resort’s Lobby Concierge for a printout of your family’s charges after your first day. You’ll be able to check the charges associated with your party’s MagicBands that way. You can also ask for a printout at any time during your stay.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
