Hiya, Edgar!
I’m glad you are planning on experiencing as much of the Disneyland Resort as you can during your visit. There is definitely plenty of magic to be found at
Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom.
The
theme park reservations are subject to limited availability. So they may run out for one park or the other during more popular seasons. At times, you will find that other Guests need to cancel their reservations. So keeping an eye on the
theme park reservation availability calendar will be helpful to alert you to when you might try to cancel your existing reservation and book a reservation to the other theme park. However, if you have Park Hopper tickets, you’ll be able to start your day in the park you already have reserved then
hop over to the other park after 1:00 PM. If your tickets are
One Park Per Day tickets, you may be able to inquire at a main entrance ticket booth about upgrading to Park Hopper tickets. As long as there are still theme park reservations available, you will likely be able to make that upgrade.
Tony’s Tip: An alternative to upgrading to Park Hopper tickets is upgrading your
theme park ticket to a Disneyland Resort
Magic Key pass. That will give you a 12-month window starting from the date you first used your original ticket to enjoy many more days at The Happiest Place on Earth! And Magic Key passes include a park hopping entitlement.
Upgrades to a Magic Key pass can be done in the Tickets & Passes screen of the
Disneyland mobile app, usually on the last day of your original theme park ticket. The
Magic Key Access Calendar shows possible dates you could reserve for subsequent visits.
Enjoy all the magic of the Disneyland Resort, Edgar!
