Hi there, Milena. Welcome to planDisney! I’m delighted to see you’re planning a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth.
With such close proximity between
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park, park hopping is fairly quick and convenient. Unlike over at Walt Disney World Resort where you’ll need to take a ferry, bus, monorail or the Skyliner to get from one theme park to another, you’ll just need to cross The Esplanade between the two parks at Disneyland Resort. If you want a break from the thrills and excitement of the theme parks during the day, the respite of
Downtown Disney is just a quick stroll away.
When purchasing multi-day
theme park tickets, you can choose to add the Park Hopper option so you can go between both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day. Unfortunately, a standard multi-day theme park ticket will only grant you access to one of the parks. If you already purchased multi-day one park tickets, you can still add on the Park Hopper option afterwards if you’d like. This can be done on the
Disneyland Resort website or the
Disneyland Mobile App by logging on to your MyDisney account. Under “MyDisneyland”, click on “Change Your Theme Park Tickets” and you can follow the prompts to modify your tickets to add Park Hopper. If you encounter issues or do not see this option, you can call
Disneyland Resort Tickets Services or click on the “Help” tab, then “Chat with Us” to connect with a friendly Cast Member who can help you tag on Park Hopper to your existing tickets.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Milena. If you have more trip-planning questions for us, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again.
Sending you pixie dust,
Kiki
