We have multi-day park hopper tickets for Dec 4th to the 8th. Do I make my reservations one day at a time when they become available or do I have to wait until the all days of my trip are available to make park reservations?

Hi there, Connie! Welcome to planDisney!

You are in for such a treat! Visiting the Disneyland Resort during the merriest time of the year gives those memories an extra touch of holiday magic. There's nothing quite like seeing Santa himself float down Main Street, U.S.A. during the A Christmas Fantasy Parade or enjoying all the multi-cultural celebrations at Disney California Adventure Park's Festival of the Holidays

Taking a peek at the theme park reservation calendar, I have some great news for you! All of your dates are now open, so you can grab those reservations. It sounds like you are a planner at heart (just like us!), so we love to see a fellow Guest getting their Disneyland ducks in a row early. It may be helpful to know that the decision is yours when planning your next trip. Once your theme park tickets are linked to your account, you can choose to book the reservations one day at a time or wait until your full window is open. Reservations are subject to availability and can become unavailable, but if you are on top of it around the 120-day mark, you will hopefully have no issues. Typically, it's the popular holidays or dates around events like D23 Expo where you would find the reservations go quickly same-day. Even if a date is unavailable, you can continue to check the calendar as Guests are always changing their plans and reservations can open up!

Connie, about six weeks ahead of your trip the Entertainment Schedule for your dates will become available. I love taking a look through the schedule to not only get excited about my trip but to also start planning out our days. You can EARmark any must-dos and then build your itinerary around them. For me, there's nothing like a Nighttime Spectacular to cap off a Disneyland day, and you are in luck! Both parks will be presenting a nighttime show with a touch of holly jolly for the season! At Disneyland Park, you can enjoy the "Believe ... In Holiday Magic" fireworks bursting above Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle. While it's tempting to be front and center, I highly recommend grabbing a spot along Main Street, U.S.A. for this one! You might just get a snow surprise that is more magical than you could ever imagine. Over at Disney California Adventure Park, take in World Of Color - Seasons of Light. This unique show blends fountains dancing as you've never seen before, projections, and music into a spectacular journey ... this time with a touch of the holidays!

Connie, be sure to take a few moments each day to sit and let the sights and sounds settle in around you. The quieter moments will make the trip last longer, and it's usually in these moments that I find the most magic. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Believe in the magic,
    Tara
