Hi Sherri,
I'm so excited to hear that you have a vacation to the most magical place on earth planned in just a few short weeks! Plus, with 10-day
Park Hopper Option tickets, you'll have plenty of time to soak up the magic and fun all around the Walt Disney World Resort!
The
Flexible Date Option is great if you're not sure when you'll be visiting or if you want to extend the window for which your tickets are valid. Because the
length of validity varies by how many days of theme park tickets you're purchasing, some Guests like the flexibility of having 14 full days to use their tickets. With a 10-day ticket, though, you're already able to use your theme park days as you wish within a 14-day period. That won't change if you upgrade to the Flexible Date Option. If you already know for sure when you'll be visiting, I'd encourage you to go ahead and buy your tickets now with the start date selected. Don't worry...if for some reason you do need to change that start date, you'll be able to do that before midnight Eastern time the day before your tickets' first use by calling the Disney Reservation Center and only paying the difference between the ticket you currently have and the one you'd like. (No refunds will be given for lower-cost tickets.)
Whether you decide to add the Flexible Date Option or not, I'd definitely encourage you to go ahead and purchase your tickets and link them to your My Disney Experience account. That will enable you to make three FastPass+ selections per day before you even arrive, saving you lots of time waiting in lines!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sherri, and have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
