If we use a multi day photo pass/memory maker at Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party and scan our magic bands, will the My Disney Experience system think that we are using one day of our 2 day park tickets as well as the special event ticket?

Hello Joanne, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

I am so glad to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort at one of my favorite times of the year. Every theme park and resort hotel are decked out in its holiday finery. My favorite event is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Since this event requires a special event ticket, when you scan your MagicBand to enter, it will only accept your party ticket. The festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. but guests can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. If you plan to enter the Magic Kingdom any earlier in the day, you will have to use a regular theme park admission ticket for access.

While attending Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, you will enjoy the special character experiences and entertainment. Holiday Wishes and the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade are two of my favorites. Your holiday spirits will rise when the Frozen Holiday Wish magically transforms Cinderella Castle. Keep in mind that entertainment and schedules are subject to change. But you will have a wonderful time. Don’t forget about the exclusive merchandise and dining options only available during the party. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
