Hi Brandy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort begins tomorrow! Hooray! A big "Happy Birthday!" to your daughter as she celebrates at "The Most Magical Place on Earth." We have something in common ... I would choose
Epcot for my special day, too!
A visit to the China Pavilion in World Showcase will be extra fun with a fluent Mandarin speaker in the family! When you meet
Mulan, I suggest that one of the adults in your party discreetly ask Mulan or a nearby Cast Member if Mulan can converse with your daughter in Mandarin. Since Mulan tries to make all Guests in Epcot feel welcome and included, she may need to stick to English during your visit.
When you stop by the shops or the
Kidcot Fun Stop in China, I bet your daughter will be able to put her second language to good use since many of the Cast Members there are from China. I'm sure they would love to spend some time talking with your daughter, especially on her birthday!
I hope this helps a bit, Brandy! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
