My 18 mth old daughter has food allergies. She currently is on rice milk. Is that available on the ship? Also she has an egg and almond allergy. Is there an allergen menu available for meal time? Thank you!

    Hi there, Emily!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is SO SOON and I know you must be so very excited for your adventure with Captain Mickey to get here!  Get ready for lots of fun and nonstop excitement because it's coming your way!

Disney Cruise Line does an excellent job of catering to those Guests with dietary restrictions and food allergies.  My two boys have a dairy allergy and we have always been accommodated with a variety of things to choose from while onboard.  If you have not yet noted your reservation with a food allergy for your daughter, I highly recommend doing so ahead of time.  This will alert your dining room servers and head server that you have special requests that will need to be taken into consideration for each meal.  You can do this by logging into your Disney Cruise Line account and selecting “Special Requests”.  Then, on the first night, discuss your daughter’s specific dining needs with your servers and they will be able to accommodate you by providing you with recommendations or working with the onboard chefs to prepare food for your daughter.  Often, they will request that you “pre-order” meals the night before so that they can make sure to have everything ready to go for you, and I do recommend doing this because it will reduce longer than necessary wait times for your meals.  While onboard food and beverage selections are always subject to change, we have been able to request rice milk for our littles in the past!  Your stateroom has a beverage cooler, so you can also keep some milk in there to have available as needed!

If you plan on using the onboard nursery (and I most definitely recommend doing so!), they will also take great care in adhering to your daughter’s dietary needs.  I recommend bringing a small backpack for anything you will want to accompany her to the nursery so that she has everything she needs!

Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!

    Happy Sailing!
