Hi Kelly,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm excited for you in your planning for your Walt Disney World vacation. One thing I can say with confidence from my 20-plus years of visiting Walt Disney World is that you'll find many of the most caring and thoughtful Cast Members who want to help you enjoy a most magical experience. While chairs and stools may not be brought into the theme parks — and I did inquire about the specific type of stool you're mentioning — I do want to offer a few suggestions that I think might be helpful. The first suggestion is to explore the
ECV rentals and
wheelchair rentals that can help you as you make your way around the parks and wait in lines. There are a number of attractions, entertainment offerings, and character experiences in each theme park that
allow Guests to remain in their EVC or wheelchair, while others require transfer from the EVC or wheelchair to a ride vehicle. Another suggestion is to look into the
Disability Access Service (DAS), which allows for a virtual wait that addresses the ability to wait in the typical standby queues. You can get more information directly by contacting Disability Services by phone at (407) 560-2547 or by email at disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Kelly, there's lots of magic awaiting you at your Walt Disney World vacation and I wish you a most wonderfully fun stay.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
