Hi MP! We are taking our kids to Disney for the first time- end of September.y'Any suggestions to make their first trip extra special and the baby's 2nd birthday extra special? Thank you!! =)

    Hi Nicole!

How exciting that you're celebrating your 2-year old's birthday at Walt Disney World!

To make their trip extra special, make sure to ask for complimentary "My First Visit" and "Birthday" buttons from a Cast Member at Guest Services.

On your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) you can make a note of your 2-year olds birthday. They may even sprinkle magic on the table prior to your arrival and bring out a special treat, such as a cupcake with a candle.

Make an ADR for Chef Mickey's to make a special meal with Mickey Mouse and friends.

You can also call Disney Florist and Gifts or visit their website at to order a special celebration package to be sent to your room for either your 2-year olds birthday or a gift for the entire family. There are several options, ranging from In-Room Celebrations with Mickey Mouse and Pals, Birthday Celebrate with Mickey package or even an "Ears to You" package with everything your child needs for their first Disney vacation, including their first set of Mickey Mouse ears, that you can personalize, an autograph book, autograph pen and snacks.

I hope you have a magical visit!
