Hi MP! We're staying at CSR in 01/17 and we booked a preferred room. Can you tell me which buildings are preferred and which one we should request? And, its just my husband and I going...looks like fun night life there, true? Thank you, so much!

    Hi Allison,

Preferred rooms at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort can have views of the lake, courtyard, landscaping and plants, other buildings or the parking area.

If I had to recommend a single building at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, it would have to be the Cabanas in Building 9B due to their close proximity to El Centro, excellent views of Lago Dorado and the relative short walk to the resort's main bus stop. Building 9B is also close to the Dig Site, which is a sprawling pool complex with a Mayan ruins theme. However, this building only offers Business Class accommodations.

If you have not reserved a Business Class room, then I would suggest the preferred rooms at the Casitas in buildings 1, 2 or 3, which are relatively close to El Centro. To make your room request, please contact Disney and have them note your preference on the reservation. Once you arrive on property, Cast Members will try to accommodate you based on resort occupancy. However, please keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed.

Disney Moms Tip: Be sure to experience the vibrant nightlife in the upscale setting found at the Rix Lounge. You'll find DJs spinning tunes there most evenings. I highly recommend trying the Earth, Wind and Fire Mojito!

Wishing you and your husband an unforgettable trip!
