    Hi MP! We have a 9:25pm dinner at chef mickey, MK closes at 9pm that day and I was wondering how get back to the boardwalk resort? Will the buses still be running from MK back to our resort?

    Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm more than happy to help!

    Depending on how long your dinner lasts, buses from Magic Kingdom may not be running since the park closes at 9:00 p.m. Buses generally operate until one hour after park closing time. However, buses typically operate until 2:00 a.m. between Disney resort hotels and Downtown Disney. So, just hop on a bus to Downtown Disney from Disney's Contemporary Resort and then transfer to a bus to Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Hopefully, you'll be able to get back to Magic Kingdom in time to catch the bus from there but if not, at least you'll have another option!

    I hope you enjoy dining at Chef Mickey's as much as I do. It's one of our family's favorites. Be sure to get there early so you can watch Wishes from the Contemporary's outdoor area.
