Hello MP. Our next WDW trip is fast approaching- Oct 24-28. What should I expect the weather to be like and what should I pack clothing wise? Will we be able to swim? This is our first fall trip- we were there at the end of March '13. Thank you!

    Hi Kim,

You have chosen one of my very favorite times to visit Walt Disney World! The weather in October is usually beautiful with highs in the 80's during the day. Be sure to check the weather before you leave. I would plan on shorts and t-shirts. You may want to bring one pair of pants and a light weight jacket just in case.

The pools at Disney are heated to 82 degrees year round. Being from New England, my family swims in Disney even in February! When we visit in October, we generally spend a full day at a water park.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation filled with countless magical memories,
