    Hi MP, love you folks! I booked ADR's and put in my Visa # for some of my reservations (none that charged it right away), now I have the free dinning, will my card be charged anyway? Or once we are there they will take the credits off our dinning plan?

    Hi Cynthia!

    When making dining reservations there are two types of meals that require a credit card, prepayment meals and credit card guarantee meals.  Meals that must be prepaid include dinner shows such as Hoop Dee Do Musical Review, Spirit of Aloha, Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Cinderella's Royal Table.  A credit card guarantee will only charge your credit card $10 per a person if you do not show up or cancel your reservation within 24 hours, those restaurants include 1900 Park Fare,California Grill Chef Mickey's, Be Our Guest,Arkershus Royal Banquet Hall, Artist Point, Cape May Cafe', Crystal Place, Citricos, Le Cellier, Jiko, Ohana, Tusker House, Yachtsman, Hollywood Brown Derby, Victoria and Albert's, The Garden Grill, Flying Fish Cafe, Narcoossees.

    You do not need to use the same credit card or form of payment that you used when making reservations. Since your credit card has not been charged, I am assuming that you will be dining at restaurants that require a credit card guarantee and not prepayment. In either case, you should have no problem using your free dining credits and your credit cad will not be charged for the meal.

    I would call Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE and have your reservations noted that you will be using the dining plan, this should keep your credit card from being charged. The only reason it would be charged is if you were a no show or didn't cancel within 24 hours of your reservation.  If you have made reservations for a prepaid meal and your credit card is charged, call (407) WDW-DINE and speak to a cast member about refunding your money since you will be using the dining plan.
