Hi MP! I'm thinking about running the Princess race in Feb, do I need any additional tickets, besides my PH, to get into WWS to register for the race? Is there anything I should be aware of if I'm running? THANKS :)

    Hi there, Katherine!

Congratulations on your decision to participate in a phenomenal runDisney event!

The Princess Half Marathon is scheduled for February 26, 2012. As of this writing, the race is 69% full, according to the official runDisney Web site; that said I would not wait until race weekend to register. You can do it easily online through that site.

There is no entry fee to ESPN's Wide World of Sports. That's where you'll head prior to the race to pick up your bib, goody bag, and, of course, souvenirs. The Expo is a lot of fun, and loads of vendors are out with gear and great tips to get you to the finish line.

You'll need to know that there is a 16-minute/mile pacing requirement for this run. Consider training for a 14-minute mile or better; that leaves you time for restroom breaks - or photo opportunities with the characters who line the course (note: last year, every handsome Prince was out and ready for photos!!).

Water and electrolyte beverages are provided at certain mile markers along the way.

If you'd like, feel free to send me your questions directly through the Moms Panel site, and I'll be glad to address any specifics you might have.

We'll party at the finish line!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
