HI MP!! My fam n I have alwys wntd to stay at the CR, we are booked for Oct. but after reading some reviews I am a little worried, My husband wrkd very hrd this yr to make this happen for us, so would you rcmnd a diff deluxe? The MP input means alot!!!

One thing I've learned over the years, Angela, is to take any and all reviews (resort, dining or otherwise) with a grain of salt.  So many times I've read rave reviews of a certain experience and gone in gung ho to try it myself only to be underwhelmed.  Other times, I read negative reviews (case in point: Mama Melrose) but upon trying it for myself I'm smitten.  So many different factors are at play in any given review; my advice would be to chose a resort based on your personal preferences (taking location, theme and price point into consideration) and give it a shot.

I can tell you that I had the opportunity to stay solo at Disney's Contemporary Resort about a year and a half ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it--so much so that I want to take my family back with me some time soon!  Here's what I loved:
    • The rooms are spacious and modern.
    • The monorail provides quick and convenient transportation to the Magic Kingdom.
    • On-site dining options were fabulous.
    • I had a view of the Electrical Water Pageant right from my balcony!
I hope your family will enjoy the Contemporary as much as I did!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
