Hi Eliana,
Thanks for bringing another question to us at planDisney. Moving to another state is quite the adventure but think of all the Disney Princesses who sing songs about wanting adventure!
You must provide
proof of your Florida address to purchase Florida Resident park tickets or annual passes. If you do not have a valid Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued ID, or Florida-based military ID, you must provide an approved document as proof of residency, as well as a picture ID.
There are several options for proof of Florida residency. Proof of current mortgage is approved, however, deeds, mortgage contracts or payment booklets, and leases are not accepted. You may also provide an account statement from a financial institution, or mail from a federal, state, county, or city government agency. Any mail you provide must be no more than 2 months old. Electronic versions of statements and bills are also accepted. Your letter of denial from a financial institution would not be accepted as valid proof of Florida residency.
I hope this list gave you some options for verifying your Florida residency, Eliana. Don’t forget that once you have your valid Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID, you can submit your Florida residency online to bypass Guest Relations at the theme parks. Florida residents can also purchase an
Annual Pass through a Monthly Payment Program.
Good luck with your move and enjoy your future visits to Walt Disney World Resort as a Florida local, Eliana! If you have any future planning questions, please
come see me again at planDisney!
