I am moving to Orlando in the next couple weeks. I am interested in running my first ever half marathon in February (Disney Princess Half Marathon!). I was wondering how I could find a group to run and train with.

Hi Kelly!  Congratulations on moving to Orlando!  My boys ask me every single day when we can move there to be close to Mickey Mouse!

The Princess Half is a great race!  It was my first half marathon back in 2009 and I was instantly hooked.  You can probably "Google" Orlando running clubs to find some local organizations.  I would think that somewhere as big as Orlando would have a few and there would be a lot of different level runners in them.

Another idea is to get on the runDisney Facebook page (Run Disney).  There are over 200,000 members on there and it is a great place to meet other runners.  There are probably some in the Orlando area and I'm sure they would have advice on running clubs, races, etc.  You will soon learn that the runDisney community is a great big family!

Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck with your move!
