We are moving from one Disney resort, Old Key West to Corondo Springs, to another during our stay. What is the best way to move our items between resorts?

    Hi Scott,

My family often stays in multiple Disney Resorts during each vacation. In fact, doing so has enabled me to try out every resort on property. I have great news for you! Switching from one Disney Resort to another is super easy. You'll simply pack up all of your items and give them to Bell Services to transfer the items for you. You can either bring the luggage down to the bell desk yourself, or you can call Bell Services and ask them to come get your bags in your room. They are typically quite busy in the morning, so I recommend calling about 30 minutes prior to when you want them to come get your bags so you can arrange a pick-up time that works for you. This way you aren't waiting around and wasting valuable park time. Please note that if you choose this route, you must wait in your room for the bellman to pick up your bags. They require you to be there to agree that they have taken the correct number of items. You'll let them know which resort to you are moving to and then you're all set. You can head out and enjoy the day in the park of your choice, using Walt Disney World Bus Service to get there. At the end of the day, simply hop on a bus bound for your new resort. Your bags will be waiting for you when you check-in. You'll want to inform the front desk that you had bags transferred and request to have them sent up to your room.

As a rule of thumb, we normally tip $1 per bag to the bellman picking up our bags and another $1 per bag to the bellman on the other end who brings them to our room.

    Wishing you magical memories,
