Welcome to planDisney Marie, we're so glad you're here!
I'm sorry to hear that you'll be moving further away from the Disneyland Resort. Your
theme park tickets have an expiration date, and usually it's a good amount of time that you have to be able to use them. One-day tickets that are purchased today through the
Disneyland site or the
Disneyland app are valid from now until December 30, 2027, and Multi-Day tickets must be used within 13 days of the first use or by January 12, 2028, whichever takes place first. I would check the expiration date of your tickets to see when the exact date is.
If for some reason you are unable to get back to sunny California before your tickets expire, not all is lost! Wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park tickets (except for special event tickets or if it was otherwise specifically stated) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket, as long as the new ticket purchased is of equal or greater value to the original ticket you purchased. I completely understand that it may be difficult to get a trip on the books before your tickets expire, so I'm hoping that this gives you a nice option to be able to extend the value of your tickets! You can also contact a helpful Cast Member on the
Ticket Services Line if you need further assistance.
If you will not be staying with family or friends during your next trip, I highly recommend exploring both the
Disneyland Resort Hotels and
Good Neighbor Hotels. We love to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel for the exceptional service, close proximity, and magical touches that only a Disneyland Resort Hotel can provide. We have also stayed at several of the Good Neighbor Hotels which are also a great option since many are still within walking distance to the theme parks, and some even offer a free breakfast!
I hope this information is helpful for you Marie! Don't hesitate to
come back and ask me any other questions you may have throughout the year.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
