Hiya Erika,
Welcome back to planDisney, and welcome to the Sunshine State! I used to live in Orlando, and being able to pop by my favorite place in the world regularly was a dream come true.
Speaking of visiting often, an annual pass is a great way to do just that. Even though you will not yet have your Florida driver’s license, you can still provide printed (or electronic) copies of other forms of proof of residency. If you have an account statement with your new Florida address dated within the past two months, that is an acceptable
form of residency, as is proof of current mortgage, certain bills, policies, registrations, and mail. Just make sure that everyone in your household who is 18 years and older has their own proof of residency in their name for residency verification.
I hope this was helpful, Erika. Before I let you go, you are able to verify your residency at any of the Guest Relations in the theme parks and Disney Springs. I personally prefer
Disney Springs. I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I never miss an opportunity to grab a cookie at
Gideon’s Bakehouse or stop in for lunch at
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. It also has the added bonus of having everything activated and ready to go before I get to the theme parks, so I save time in line. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning!
